March of 2014 Lady Champagne officially recognized and was Inducted into the Detroit Blues Hall Of Fame for best Blues artist award. And Detroit Rhythm and Blues Hall Of Fame award for Best Blues artist class of 2019. Aug 3, 2014 she was presented with best Blues singer of the year award from the Detroit Black Music Awards Association. To add extra flavor and spice to her show. My home town known for Creole Gumbo, Alligators, Crocodile, Rattle snakes, Armadillos, Lizards, watermelon, sugar cane, crawl fish, catfish, shrimp, Red beans and rice, lobsters and much more. Some of these reptiles were my closes friends and neighbors. They may even be sitting on the front porch when I come home.
